The conventions that I found in 10 Things I Hate About You which is a romance film are two tag lines related to the film but 'Shakespearean-esque'. The title has a feminine colour scheme which indicates that this film is aimed at the female audience. There is one large picture of all of the main characters in the film with the most important ones in the middle of the group. There is the billing with the certificate and sound and production companies logo beneath.
